Newsflash

OK, so we all know our "slotted" from our "Phillips" from our "Posi-drive" when it comes to screws... or do we? I've long prided myself on my knowledge of the difference between a Phillips and a Posi-drive but have stood corrected. Turns out that there's and aweful lot more to screws than I thought! Don't you think it's time you could tell when a screw is not a screw?

It's time to jump in!

I've noticed that since I have rebuilt the site (and I know I still have a long way to go... sorry I havn't added the branding back) we're missing all the forum action.

Tim has broken the ice, looking for help on an Integrex 300 wiht Matric control. Have a look here.

To cut a long story short, it goes a little like this:

"My problem is that on the Integrex when programming the sub spindle I dont know the correct way to get my spindle rotation right when using the T Drill for the tool sequence data.I know that it ask for Face or Back so I use back ,then set the position at 180 deg. But do I use the EDGE or EDGE BAK-(Pink Highlight). Also in the tool data page do I use Right hand rotation like normal when using the sub spindle.

Thanks Tim"

So if you can help him then bounce over to the forums.

Hello and a very warm welcome to the newly redeveloped Mazatrol.net site. Mazatrol.net has been alive on the internet since 2005 and has recently been the subject of a lick of paint. There's still a lot to do, and you'll see things a changin' whenever you come back, but the core is here and we hope you like it.

Mazatrol.net is a community site, built and maintained by myself, Matt, but needs you! If you've reached here, chances are that you have an interest in mazatrol, most likley because of professional reasons. If that's the case, then you'll have some knowledge that could be of use to someone. Please get into the Mazatrol forums and help someone out with a question, or write us an article on something you know.

Please get involved in the community, we really need your help to make this the best Mazatrol resource on the web.

All the best

Matt
